SwansonVision

UPDATE: This is old code using an early version of Atlas. Now that ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 is out, these samples are dead. Code is archived here just for reference.

Mike Swanson (my boss) had cataract surgery on Thursday. The surgery went well, and he's back at work and seeing fine, which keeps the following joke from being in really poor taste (I hope). :-)

Here's the email I sent Mike a few hours after his surgery:

blurry text reading: Mike, I hope the eye surgery went well! How's your vision? Be sure to get lots of rest, and we'll see you on Wednesday!

I then forwarded the mail to the rest of the team, encouraging them to craft similar emails using this Atlas-enabled app. Yeah, it doesn't make great use of Atlas, but I wanted to keep this at least somewhat work-related. :-)

Carter Maslan (my grandboss), in response to this gag, dubbed me "the undisputed king of post-ophthalmologic-surgery geek humor," which is quite an honorable distinction.

Update: Here's the code.
